Has anyone installed a 5 Point Harness in their KJ? I was wondering how it would look and also how much of a pain it is to disable the seatbelt sensor for the driver's seat? I guess depending if it's active high or active low you might be able to just ground it out.

I have thought about putting in a 4 point cause I like to be held in place and the stock belt allows me to slide around, especially in the Santa Cruz mountains where I live. I was thinking of just leaving the stock belt, cause my girl friend doesn't like 4 point harnesses, and just attach the 4 point to the 4 bolts that hold down the seat.

Yeah, that might work too. The other thing I was worried about too is that with a 5 point I know there's the danger of compressing your spine if there's no bar to bring it over but I could always have a brace welded in.

Just be sure you mount the seat belts correct. You cannot just bolt them to the existing bolts. You must run a bar along the back of the seats so it does not crush your spine in a wreck.
