Day 3 consisted of sleeping in a few hours, driving to denver in the rain and fighting traffic, going all over town for parts, and driving back up to fort collins, annoying day that while resulted in me getting all the parts needed to finish, felt very frustrating in terms of things accomplished.

Today we got the front bumper grill lights etc all on, so the front end of the Jeep is done at least. Spent most of the day removing the 1/4 panel, tommorrow the prep(grinding etc) to get the new panel on begins, hopefully my roof comes in tomorrow or sat so I dont have to wait untill tues to get it.

If you get a chance, take a look in LOST Rockies. We are planning a trail run up North in June.

Looking good! Still think you should have gone for making it a convertible.

I bought my Reny up in Ft Collins Lithia. What is your experience with them?

Between now and June 8th I have to be in socal, 2500 miles of driving will occur between here and socal. A softtop would kill this thing as a comfortable highway vehicle.

I gave no experience with lithia here. I only goto pro on 104th because I get a 25% discount on all parts there.

Since 1999 and about 18 Jeeps I have never gone to the dealer for any service, only parts.

What rod are you using for sheet metal? Looks like 7018. Tuff to use on sheet metal. Should try 6011, might burn thru though.
