interesting new tire carrier

i just saw this in the latest issue of Off-Road Adventures magazine....

it's a swing away tire carrier that attatches to a 2" receiver hitch... kinda neat... check it out: http://www.tiregate.com/hg.shtml

if i woulda had one of these i wouldn't have damaged my rear gate coming off a steep drop-off at Hannibal Rocks a few weeks ago :roll:

of course, if i would have just removd my spare, i wouldn't have damaged it either... :lol:

anyway... just thought it was a cool idea to strengthen the spare mount on our KJ's even though you might lose some departure angle...

but... the magazine lists the price at $329.99 (could this be a typo?) it says to call 4WD Hardware or 4wheelparts...
