Post subject:  seat options

I have the tan cloth seats. They stain and are too narrow. I am going to recover and pad the seat differently.

Question. My options are changing to full leather or going with another fabric such as wet okle or similar.

Any comments or recommendations?

thanks

there is a shop here in austin tx that is going to reskin my seats with cowhide, and going to extend the padding on the front seats a bit for more comfort.

its gonna run 1k or so, but it will be way worth it. seats stain so easy, not sure how the designers got away with that one.

Hair on or hair off?

Same here for leather $1000 for full leather.

there is a company call Katzkin that makes some pretty cool leather seat covers, they are fully customized and can even have logos embroidered. I forget what the website is though.

edit--found it: http://www.katzkin.com/05/FC/mainFS.html

I have Katzkin leather seat covers in my '05....completely not worth the money. Solves the cloth seat staining issue, but doesn't do a thing for comfort. Like a few others, i'm going to pull the front seats out and add some padding to them.
