JBA still needs an '02-'04 KJ to size up for headers. Anyone in the San Diego area that can let them have their KJ for a few days to get this project finished?

Darn, I would, but I live in the Bay Area.... maybe a road trip is in order...definately worth considering.

Wait a minute.......Headers for the 02-04 KJ  . Any clues as to when they'll be out. :D

They will be out very soon if they can get an '02-'04. Just need to make some adjustments to fit the different cats on the earlier models. They have already made headers for the '05+ and they just finished making them for the Nitro.

How do you know this? I don't see the KJ on the list....but I do see they need 4.0L Jeep models. Wish I could swing getting down there w/ XJ.

Because I talked to JBA again today, and they asked me to put a request out on L.O.S.T. This is such an active and large forum that I'm pretty active in, that we thought it would be the best way to find someone that wanted some headers for their KJ.

Someone must need a free set of headers! Cmon!

I didn't say they were a free set of headers. I don't know what deal JBA will work out with you. I was saying that I would think someone in that area would probably want headers, and be willing to let them make some measurements so they could actually get some. I've been trying to get headers for almost 6 years. Surely I'm not the only one left with a pre '05 that still wants headers. If we can't find anyone, I'm going to have a custom exhaust shop make them fit.

I'd do this in a heartbeat - if I wasn't on the opposite coast  I've been wanting headers ever since I heard that JBA was making them, however I'm patient enough to wait until they have all the fitments corrected. I'm not sure if the ones they currently have will fit my Mid-year '03 that was made in early June of that year.
