Thosen who said the factory installed oil filter is on super tight weren't exaggerating!@!@! 
I just hit 3000 miles yesterday, so I went ahead and put in 5 quarts of Castrol Syntec 5W-30 and a PureONE filter. I could swear she actaually smiled at me afterward. For those running synthetic, did you feel an immediate change to the way your KJ runs, or is it a lot more subtle than that? |

I never noticed a difference in the way it runs at all. However, I don't need to change my oil as often and it offers better protection under hard conditions. |
