JUST WONDERING HOW IN THE HECK DO THESE WORK???? HAHAHA MY LIGHT CAME ON AND IT WAS JUST AT THE DEALER THE OTEHR DAY. THEY SAID I HAD 33 PSI IN EVERY TIRE IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN DO TO GET THE DASH LIGHT OFF???? I LOOKED AT ALL THE WHEELS AND THEY ALL LOOK GOOD AND NOT LOW.

Check the PSI in the tires, INCLUDING the spare. Just because the dealer said 33psi was in all tires means nothing..

What year Jeep do you have? 05+?

Does it tell you the tire pressures on the evic if you have one?

Did you recently have new tires put on? Try disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes. Once in awhile, after being aired down and refilling, my light will stay on for several miles before it goes off.

yes, i think the 05+s with no EVIC have an indirect TPMS system (no sensor in the wheel, read via wheelspeed) and what it measures is not actual tire pressure but differences in wheelspeed.

Yes the 05's and on have a wheel sensor. I don't have the display on my EVIC, but I do have sensors in the wheels. I have seen them. If you go below about 30 PSI the light will come on in the dash.

Weird. Must be the fleet cars we service that don't have wheel sensors or something...unless it's just something I haven't noticed.

I know that overinflation, with either indirect (no wheel sensors, based on wheel speed) and direct (with the sensors in the wheels) will set off your light, though.
