So we are going over trail ridge road in Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday, and my youngest son asks me to put down his window in the back for a better view. It has only been down about 10 times or so in its short life, and it makes a thumping noise and quits. It will push up with no resistance, so at least I can keep out rain. Also, the door will not open from the inside anymore. I will take it in under warranty...
Anybody experience this?

Strange that the door will not open from the inside. Make sure the child lock is not on.

Sounds like a window regulator. Its a common thing to have one go bad.

The child lock is not on, as the other door will open. I can hear the motor whirring, but nothing. Maybe some kind of linkage or something snapped and jammed the door? Oh well, the dealer can figure it out...

I will check that out. I was thinking of the window lock out button. Thanks!
