Did the skid come with mounting bolts? Did you have to do any drilling or modification to make it work on an '02?

The $28 version has no mounting bolts. I picked up 3 ea 2 1/2" grade 8 and 1 3" bolts with nuts and washers for $2.25 at NAPA.

Yes, you have to modify it a bit and drill, pound, and such...It will go though.

You'll have to pound it down where the exhaust is. It won't touch at stand still but others claim it rattles, so I hammered it a bit. You could even shim it with washers in the rear to give it more clearance. I like hammers.

The two drivers side holes will line up, the others you have to decide your fix.

Clamp it good cause when it hits your skull, it hurts a little.

LOL, I know what you mean ... had a hitch crack my knee when I was trying to do a self-install.
