| Post subject: | Ventillation Fans not working??? |
Yesterday when I was driving, had the A/C on full blast. Stopped at the store, got back in, and the fans would only blow at the slowest speed, even when the dial was at full blast. Later that evening, they stoped working completely, no air coming from the vents (A/C on and off). I'm going to check the connections on the back of the control panel once I get off work, but any other things to look for???? |

Most likely the blower resistor went out,it's behind the glovebox(the glovebox fully goes down after bending in the 2 tangs on either side). From other poeple it's a cheap part and easy fix. |

I'm having trouble locating the resistor. I took the glove box off and took one thing off that connected into the moto. It was flat, about the size of a playing card. It doesn't look like the picture in the Hanes manual though. Do you happen to have a picture, or describe what it looks like, where exactly it is in there? Thanks ***edit*** just looked it up online and I guess that is what I am looking for |

I was at the dealer a couple of days ago to get my window fixed, and the service rep said there was a blower motor recall. I tried to get it fixed then and there, but have to go back due to part on order. Check the jeep sight to see if your vehicle has this recall... BTW, saw a beautiful KJ at the dealer, and it turned out to be skyjumper's. Super clean, frankenlifted beauty. |
