About a month ago i had the front pads changed and they cut the roters also. for about two weeks i have been hearing a light thumping sound from the front driver side brake. this is at a very slow speen like 15 mph or less. I dont feel it in the steering wheel or the brake pedal. I just hear it. I was thinking a warped rotor but i dont know. They did flush the brake system also. Any info is appreciated. Chris |

There are anti-rattle clips that hold the brakes down from shaking (or thumping) when applied. They're pretty to pop back off if they weren't installed correctly. I'd be willing to bet one is either loose, or off. Take it back to where you had the brakes done at and have them look at it. Not too much of a big deal. I definately wouldn't ride around for a while with them like that though, if it is the case. You run the risk of damaging your new brakes. Had this happen on my previous vehicle when i put new brakes on the front, one of the clips popped back off and it would "thump" when i applied them. |
