nice!! i think these are great to have. 1. it tells you the steepness of the grade youre on (how often have you wondered what was the angle of that hill you climbed?) and it can also 2. let you know if you're in over your head.
im looking for digital ones myself

I have the one above zip-tied to my roll cage. Works great, and has actually helped me a bit. I used to get pucker at 20-25*, now I feel safe at 30-35* as long as my tires aren't hitting a lot of rocks on the uphill side... and I do start choosing my line to take me on flatter ground at that point.
