I like how he did his trimming on the front bumper, kinda of hard to see but if you look by the wheel well in the front you can see that he sort of sliced out the front section by the tire.

interesting, the site is down. Try it later, he has some terrible CV angles but the jeep looks good. He claim 5" of lift, he might be couting tires.

as high as his arse is in the side-shot, and seeing that he has the 2.5" spacer in the back, think he's running a 2-3" lift AND the spacer?

Seems to have an awful lot of clearence around the 31"s for a normal 3" lift.

While those tires look sweet on a liberty, You know he must have about zero flex to keep them from tearing the fenders apart. Think I'd rather have the suspension travel than the extra inch of ground clearance.

I like what he's done with the front bumper cover, I've been trying to figure out how to tuck the end caps on my sport bumper. I thought about cutting out the transistion piece and plastic welding it back together. I never thought of just cutting it out all the way up. I've trimmed out the center piece already. hmm...

I think you are right, he has a spacer and spring lift. :lol: Not too bright there. :shock:

Looks like he has the rusyts spring lift along with a spacer lift out back and a OTT lift on the front.

Nothing will last very long like that. CV joint will go, ujoints on the rear DS will go.. Tie-Rods ends and R&P will probably go too..

It looks sweet though! I bet its good offroad..

Those Swampers actually spec out at 31.6".
A few of us have invited him over here, but he hasn't showed yet.

This set up seems doable and from the pics he obviously wheels it. I wonder how long he has had the lift on his ride.

I'm like Donnie. I've seen tons of old lifted Toyotas with CVs that look like they'd go any minute, but they're owners claim no durability issues.
"Doable" is one thing, but standing the test of time is another. What we need is for this guy to get on the forum here at LOST. We could use better pictures of his CVs at-rest and when fully drooped...better pictures in general would help. Maybe he's stumbled onto something. :)
The front suspension pics he has look like it's probably at-rest. With his extra-tall strut assembly those upper a-arms are using the bottom of the coil and strut as bumpstops. He could probably use some real bumpstops! Maybe this limiting of the suspension droop prevents him from screwing his CVs and boots up. I wonder how old those pics are. If he did anything offroad to really articulate the front, I wonder how updated pics would look. Metal-on-metal contact?

Here's my question. How well would that set-up work with the 31-32s most of us run now, which are no-where near as heavy or wide? I'm sorry for what I'm about to say...but we need info from this guy (think: guinea pig). He might F-up his rig real bad, but knowing exactly what happened would be helpful to those of us who are waiting for a bigger lift...and wouldn't you guys love to be surprised if he somehow managed to put together a decent larger lift and an almost-functional rig (needs new tires)? :P

Post subject:  Tires Dry Rotting?
Something that we use on the RV tires. Aero 303. Works great and helps protect the tires on the RV. Something to consider. They have it at ACE Hardware and Camping World.
