Knew the front brakes were due. Having the state inspection done anyway. Dlr quotes me $318, pads and rotors. Went to Strauss - $139.95 and they turned the rotors. Guess I didn't need them after all. Oh, and they rotated the tires for free since they were off anyway. |

I seem to burn through brakes on my KJ faster than any other vehicle I've owned. I am going to put new front rotors & pads on an rear pads. Does anyone have a favorite brand? I am looking to buy from parts america, Thanks! |

I've never had any problems with Napa brand pads and rotors. Then again my previous vehicles have been cars, and not a 2 ton Jeep. On another note, Eagle, when was that pic (avatar) taken? Thats a crap load of snow! And whats that on your roof? |

He said Labor and Tax, he probably bought them somewhere else, and had the dealer install them. At least that's how i read it. |

s~ Well to be honest I just asked around the forum and was told by clint and a few other people that it was a great combo of the two. I also trust my Jeep dealership and they suggested the combo in the first place. I say they are awesome because it is such an incredible difference over what I had when I first bought the Jeep and it was new rotors and pads. I hope I didn't babble too much there. haha Take it easy ya'll, ADAM |
