Knew the front brakes were due. Having the state inspection done anyway. Dlr quotes me $318, pads and rotors. Went to Strauss - $139.95 and they turned the rotors. Guess I didn't need them after all. Oh, and they rotated the tires for free since they were off anyway.

I seem to burn through brakes on my KJ faster than any other vehicle I've owned. I am going to put new front rotors & pads on an rear pads. Does anyone have a favorite brand? I am looking to buy from parts america,

Thanks!

I've never had any problems with Napa brand pads and rotors. Then again my previous vehicles have been cars, and not a 2 ton Jeep.

On another note, Eagle, when was that pic (avatar) taken? Thats a crap load of snow! And whats that on your roof?

They charged me 160 for labor and tax, thats it.

He said Labor and Tax, he probably bought them somewhere else, and had the dealer install them. At least that's how i read it.

Well to be honest I just asked around the forum and was told by clint and a few other people that it was a great combo of the two. I also trust my Jeep dealership and they suggested the combo in the first place. I say they are awesome because it is such an incredible difference over what I had when I first bought the Jeep and it was new rotors and pads.

I hope I didn't babble too much there. haha
