Post subject:  Length of Lugs?

Anyone know the length of the lugs on the KJ? I'm thinking about 1" spacers to go with my 17X7.5's and my 245/65R17's and add OME mediums all around. I don't have any rubbing right now, but my springs are over 6 years old, and shocks are over 2 years old. I would like to know if I'll need to have shorter lugs pressed in without removing one of the rims to measure. Usually easier to just ask.

Thanks

Why not go with 1.25 spidertrax spacers, can bolt them right on with no problems. There is a used set on ROF right now for 150. I have them on mine and it sits the tire right at the edge of the fender well and looks great

I have the 7.5" wide rims. Wouldn't the 1.25" spacers put me past the fenders?

Just my opinion...I think we all would rather see you use hub-centric spacers with new lug bolts than the spacers that just shorten the lugs. Those are the ones you can find horror stories about

Confused :? are you wanting to use bolt on spacers (like Spidertrax) or just the old style spacers that go between the wheel and hub? Makes a huge difference. If you use 1.25 like Spidertrax then yes your wheel will be out to the edge of the fender, esp since you have 7.5 inch rims

I wanted to use something like the Spidertrax, but thought 1" would make it a closer match to the outer edge of the Moabs. That's why I was asking about the length of the lug nuts. On your Spidertrax, would the lugs have been too long if they were only 1" spacers? I'm pretty good at math, but I've never lifted a vehicle. I've also never studied backspacing and really could stand a lesson. I don't want them to stick out past the fenders, but want them a little farther out.

I know that they are not clear out flush with the adapter but not sure how much they are from that. I will pull a wheel off tomorrow evening and check for you. Let you know then.
