I have an AEM air tube. I want to replace it with a custom PVC tube, but have 2 questions...

1) Anyone see any problem using PVC for the intake tube? Primary reason is that I am working on a Ram Air type setup, but the AEM tube doesn't leave the filter (Amsoil EA filter, not AEM) at a good angle for waht I want to do.

2) There are 2 hoses that connect to the tube on my gasser. Anyone know what they are and consequences if I don't have them connected into the tube?

Those hoses are your breather lines. If you disconnect them, make sure you cap off the connections on the air tube for them so you don't suck in unfiltered air. Also put small air filters on the breather lines.
