I just wanted to try to start a topic with pictures of any wrecked Liberty, if it’s yours or not. I’ll start with this one I found in eBay.

Here's mine after falling asleep on the interstate....
None of the doors would open or shut properly, the dash was completely trashed, steering column was broken by my legs. Just a big ole wet mess... |

It was totaled out for sure, frame was broke in half actually behind the tranny...Luckily I didn't break, probably a good thing I was asleep and relaxed and in my safety belt....huge bruises on the legs though and a good one on the left forearm from the steering wheel. Also hada a burn mark on my nose from the airbag, other then that all good physically, sucked mentally though knowing I had just totaled a fairly new Jeep though, less then a year old.... |

Well how wrecked do you want? The first pic is from a little fender bender I had when she was about two years old. The rest are from when it was totaled when my wife rolled it.

What did she hit to roll it? The front quarter is gone, door gone (probably removed by jaws for life perhaps?), and looks like she was t-boned. Rock Rails held up. |

I can just see that ad: "Is there a HEMI in there?" Answer "Yup, but the brakes suck!" |

She lost control of it, jumped a curb and clipped the corner of a house. The house tore the front fender and driver's side door completely off and then she flipped. I do credit the boulder bars and tranny skid with helping maintain the structural integrity of the Jeep. You can see in these pics that the frame supports for the boulder bars actually bent at the welds and the front lower control arm broke. Amazingly enough she got up and walked away with only some bad bruising on the side that landed on the ground. The firemen cut the windshield out to get her out of the vehicle while it was still on the side. Door ripped off:
Broken boulder bars and control arm:
At least the ball joint is intact! |
