Sorry if this is a repeat, haven't been on lately.

But has anyone seen that a Suzuki Samari(??) recently beat the Altitude record set by the Wrangler Rubicons. Saw a blurb on in 4-wheel drive magazine at the airport saturday.

Yea, a couple Chileans modded a Zuki to death and "beat" the bone stock Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited team...after THREE tries. And then they tore down the "Jeep Parking Only: All others don't make it up here anyway." sign that the Wrangler drivers left up there.

The modification list to the Jeep Rubicons was:
1. Goodyear MT/R tires
2. A pair of winches

The modification list to the Zuki is endless. The only thing left stock on that thing is the door panel.

I could take the mods on that FrankenZuki, put them on my Miata, and make the trip. It's goofy that it's actually considered the same record. And it's PATHETIC that they tore down the sign.

If anything, this is a great testament to the Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited.

New Guiness Record: "How much money do you have to spend on YOUR car to beat the Wrangler Rubicon??"
