Yeah, that's a great price for that kinda basket, good stuff to just move the tire to the roof and remove it from rear :) replace the bumper with a metal one.
I think a few people have this, I wonder what kind of hooks or grabs it has to mount on the cross bars. My bars are pretty thick.

I have the "Canadian Tire" version of this rack. It's pretty sturdy, but does not cover the entire top of the KJ. Sorry this is the only pic I have with the roof rack on, but if you look closly you can see where it's attached to the KJ rails, you get an idea of how big it is. Its certainly big enough to handle a couple of large items. I had a large food barrel, two 7 gal water tanks, a gerry can of gas and a large crate of camping gear strapped up there for 500km each way on this trip, and it did great.

The Coleman web site lists this as $204.00 + $12.00 shipping. I have a Coleman store close by that has it marked down to $139.00. So, I guess that would be a real good price. At 44" long I think it's plenty big.

Here is a picture of the rack. I placed a magazine for size comparison.

And a picture with the optional extension.

It's held in place with wide u-bolts that come with it.

Carnage, great shots, this looks good, seems like it can attach to any kind of rails, no matter what shape. I am gonna have to think about this one! If I end up getting a subwoofer in the back, I will have to load stuff on the roof! Good idea! :)

What kind of rails are those? Great shot of the Coleman rack. I'm liking the look!

Thanks, the extension is from Thule the roof rack is sitting on Yakima crossbars.

Do you guys think that you could maybe just Ubolt it to the side rails and not have to buy the cross rails??? I don't carry a lot of heavy equipment, maybe a tent and a shovel is about all I'll use it for.

I thought of doing that but I believe even light weight being contracted on a certain part of the roof rails might eventually give in. I’ve never seen a roof rack being mounted directly on the OEM roof rails (without crossbars).

I think Tjkj's is mounted directly to the side rails.

Tjkj's looks like it has three supports on each side.

Here's is what Gringo Loco used as crossbars.

And the link http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=7423

And another link on how they mounted the rack directly to the roof.

Go to Home Despot, pick up some cheap steel slats, drill em and u-bolt em to the KJ rails. Drill holes in them and use ubolts to mount your rack to em. Check out my CarDomain picks. It works well and eliminates buying crossbars. :D

Awesome deal ... 7 - 10 business days and I get another new toy for the top of my jeep. I just got some roof mount bike racks in the mail last week. http://www.prolineracks.com/64720-roof-bike-racks.html Have a friend who uses them and they were $39 each.

Max Carnage...I sent you a PM and then Bam! I find this post....doh! So is this the rack you have your lights mounted to? Anyone else going to tried the crossbar from "Home Despot" idea? I am ordering the rack now....no more cooler scratches on the top of Roo! (and I might actually try the homemade crossbar idea!!)

Awesome find!!

Replied the IM but here are some pics of the rack with some Hella FF75 lights. Small, bright, slick!
