yea, 100k is great considering mine only has 27k and it seized up.

I replaced my rear rotors and Pads on my renny last thursday and have noticed a little wear on the left while the right is nice and shiny, obvoiusly ahead. I am going to re anti sieze the bushings on the left tonight and I bled them two day ago to get any air out. It did seem like there wasn't that much pressure in the left brakes when I bled but it is braking just fine overall??? What the hell is going on? Maybe a clogged line on the left?? Master cylinder should be fine since it stops right??? The left is wearing enough to keep rust away and it does heat up but the right seems to be ahead in wear. It is not pulling when I break hard. I marked it with magic marker and it wore off on a 20 mile drive to work with some braking. I heard there was a recall on the rear calipers and I am wondering if my right is dragging or my left is stuck and that is reason for the differential wear. I am going to jack it and put it in neutral to spin both tires and see if one is dragging. Anyone else have these problems?? Shoud I just say screw DCX and relace both rear calipers with after market just like I did with my ball joints?? Thats what I am tempted to do. |

I had a right rear caliper seize on my 04. It has nothing to do with the pins, the piston itself gets stuck. |

Well I am 100k(normal milage for a WW kayaker!) so I guess I should call myself lucky and just replace both of the pos'es. |

I had a '95 Dodge Dakota 5.2L 4x4 with Auto, during the many years I had it I had to ever other year replace the driver side front rotor with new pads then every 4 years replace both driver and passnger side rotors with pad. It just seemed to have a appite for rotors till I got rid of it it was a never ending battle and no Mech could tell me what the problem was.

Just had to replace my drivers side rear caliper last week at 42,000 miles. Seized like the rest. |
