Kind of curious about this muffler. Looks similar in size to stock. I would like to find something that would free up the flow, keep the interior noise to a minimum and be a "little" louder than stock. Think this one would work?

Seems like a popular muffler is the 50 series SUV muffler. I've been to a couple of local muffler shops looking around and found that it is hard to make the 3.7 6 cyl have a good deep sound. I don't want the revy Japanese vehicle sound. I'd rather keep it stock than have it sound that way! Interesting, one of the muffler shops that was familiar with the 3.7 said that the stock muffler was sooo HUGE to allow an expansion chamber to deepen the tone. I have to admit that the stock muffler does give a pretty good deep tone, but just not loud enough. So, that was my thought on the bigger 70 series muffler!

Hey! Did you ever go with the 70 series? I have a super 40 and it sounds good at idle and cruising speeds but throttle is iffy sometimes. Too much throttle and it sounds like a tin can under there!
Ill be looking to upgrade, again, soon!

id be interested to hear a sound clip too. my 3.7 with a glasspack sounds awesome at idle, but drones when cruising and under throttle it sounds like a raspy vacuum cleaner from hell.

If your just changing for the sound fine, but no one I've seen with a dyno has seen much difference between stock and anyone muffler. The stock exhaust is very well designed as is.
