Got the brilliant idea earlier today that I could fit more electronics and such
in my Liberty if it had an overhead center console.

Great place to mount a CB, GPS, even an iPod mount.

Trouble is, I haven't seen anything other than the rear video entertainment console.

Does anyone know if there is anything like this available either from Jeep
or the aftermarket?? .... or am I all alone on this one?? :ALONE:

i have an extra one that i dont use, just the plastic....hmmm...ill trade it to ya for some of the electronic stuff ;)

search EVIC, i have the mount for that and you can just always just not use the EVIC/OTIS and put stuff in there. myself, i am getting rid of my EVIC and using the mount for the clinometer that i just got

Looking more along the line of the old "Tuffy" consoles.

Ideally, room enough to flush mount a Cobra 148, keep the "map lights",
and maybe room for GPS and iPod mounts to keep everything together
and out of the way.

Just kickin' the idea around for now, but if anyone knows of such a thing,
please let me know.

Of course, I have been known to fabricate things that aren't commercially available..........
