im installing an aftermarket head unit and i have it all done but i have no sound ideas? im checking and redoing speaker connections now |

Did you change your speakers as well? Did you have the infiniti system stock? |

I can't remember when I put my stereo in.... but I had this problem when I did a friend's Explorer for him. Like I said, I can't remember if I had this trouble with mine or not... But, some vehicles have a factory "amp" in them. It's just a lil' piece o' poop thing. I had to bypass that so they signal would go to the speakers and the RCA's would signal up the subs. Might wanna check into that... |

you could've also accidentlaly shorted out a wire while installing, and blown up the stereo's internal amp. does it power on? does it pretend like it's actually working? I had this issue with my ex's POS Cavalier. "OH I WANT A CD PLAYER!" Note to self: Never install aftermarket stereo in a car that's got known electrical issues |
