What is different on an '07 KJ vs. an '06 KJ? I found that some aftermarket parts only run through '06 (mainly front end).

No difference

No More KJs left on the lot near my house :(

The Last Jeep made with a "J" in the two letter moniker "KJ"

Wow, I hadn't even thought about that. Think it'll help with "collectability" ratings, someday? :D

To address the question, I have often thought the same thing. I think most of it has to do with companies who updated their list of parts when they changed things in 06. Then, they just have been too lazy to include "07" since it turned to the new year. They were all over it in 2005 for the 2006 model year, but then just figured ppl would know when it rolled around to 07.

That's the best I got. I have had the same thoughts myself. Good question!

I can't remember, but I think there were only a couple differences.
One might me the "variable valve timing" on the '07, and the other I believe is the "electronic throttle control" on the "07.
I don't think these were on the '06, but I'm not positive.

06 had the trottle control. Its wire driven, but its at the same time, computer controlled. Never heard of VVT on a common block V6. Would be kind of difficult on a SOHC engine.
