Post subject:  Good back up light

With the other two discussions going on, I thought I'd ask what a good light is to use. Don't want anything too expensive and would like a rectangular light (like a Hella 550) but don't know if that's overkill.

I got the 6" version. I definitely only need one.
I highly recommend a backup light if you are driving in any sort of wooded area at night. Get one before you hit a tree, rocks, etc, when you'd be wishing you had put one already.

Go to Harbor Freight and spend $6 for a set of rectangular lights. They include the wiring harness and switch, but you will have to provide a relay, which can be found there as well. I turned them upside down and mounted them to the underside of the rear fairing, where there happen to be rivets in the perfect place for them. I just popped th rivets and mounted them with the included hardware. When I get the time, I'll snap a photo of it so you can see how I mounted them.
