Did you change your speakers as well?

Did you have the infiniti system stock?

I can't remember when I put my stereo in.... but I had this problem when I did a friend's Explorer for him. Like I said, I can't remember if I had this trouble with mine or not...

But, some vehicles have a factory "amp" in them. It's just a lil' piece o' poop thing. I had to bypass that so they signal would go to the speakers and the RCA's would signal up the subs.

Might wanna check into that...

you could've also accidentlaly shorted out a wire while installing, and blown up the stereo's internal amp. does it power on? does it pretend like it's actually working?

I had this issue with my ex's POS Cavalier. "OH I WANT A CD PLAYER!" Note to self: Never install aftermarket stereo in a car that's got known electrical issues
