I've been pretty happy with the Hitch Haul I grabbed at Walmart. I remember it being about $50, but I'm not too confident about that. Be careful about putting much weight on a receiver rack with a KJ. Mine drives WAY differently with stuff back there (even fairly light stuff). The steering is very touchy (I'm guessing due to less weight on the front wheels, as the front of the truck is being levered up by the hitch rack).

Harbor Freight carries a few different brand at much lower prices than those at JCW.

I just picked one of these up at Lowes Sunday. You might see if you can find any on clearance there. The one I got was NIB that was on clearance and didn't sale so they had it out for $15!! Needless to say I didn't have to think very long..

I have been happy with the few times we have used ours from wal-mart. It just doesnt have the Z bar lift like you seem to want. But I dont plan on using it while offroad anyhow so that isnt a problem.

I started out with one from Walmart...complete and utter junk, maybe just the one I grabbed. I then went to Tractor Supply and for $60 (I think) I got one I was happy with. Rated for 600 lbs. I ended up taking out some of the nuts and bolts and welding the halves together to make more room in the basket.

I have the Hitch Haul brand from Walmart. I've had it for 5-6 years. I've been very pleased with it. I think I paid ~ $70 for it back then. I've used it a lot to carry firewood and other camping gear when we go camping. We like to camp a lot, so it gets used a lot. I've given it a new rattlecan paint job because it was starting to rust a little, but other than that, it seems pretty well made. I think it's rated at 500 pounds.
