Chrome trim Question

What is under the chrome trim on the 05-07. Is it just double sided tape like the badges or are there alignment holes?

What are you getting ready to do? I have all the necessary tools to take mine off and I have been dragging my feet. I want to blacken mine out, I HATE CHROME!

I am slowly blacking it out. I have removed the badges and am going to black out the chrome trim as well. Next will be window tint on the P and D side and then black soft 8's with some new shoes.

I Herculined my grille after a rock on the expressway chipped it,

Here it is:

Ging to do the side moldings soon. can't decide if I will paint or Herculine them
Might paint first and then fall back on herculiner if i screw that up. Grille worked out great, get LOTS of commpliments.

Looks Good.

I was going to pant them black just like the guy in the KL Country link. I also thought about bedliner as I used it on my roof rails and it turned out great. Probably paint it and if it goofs then i'll bed line it. The bed liner I used on my cross rails was the budget kind and I liked it cause it's not super thick. May need more power if I throw it on the trim. I think paint will work and look best.
