btw, does this void the warranty? i still have my powertrain until 2012 and i have emisions warranty. Will the dealership make a stink about it? |

Fax/email a spec sheet to DQ's warranty claims dept and ask them if it voids the warranty. If they say no, then you have a little fighting power when the dealer denies it. |

Sorry, should have been DC, Daimler Chrysler, if they still own Jeep. I'd start with their Customer Service. Jeep customer service I'd ask them what the number is for their Warranty Dept and then start asking them some questions and/or fax/email the Flowmaster spec sheet to them. May end up being more work than it's worth to you or you may get lucky and someone will give you a straight yes or no answer if it will void your warranty. If they say it will not void the warranty, make sure you get it in writing and the name of the person sending it to you. You could always ask 2 or 3 dealers. But most will only warranty it if DC will, so you may as well get it from the horses mouth first, so to speak. |

i dont think you really need to get an offroad version of the muffler. I hit my 50 series on rocks all the time and all it has is a few scratches. There built a lot better than oem stuff. |

Well when i talked to chrysler they said they really dont recommend i put an aftermarket muffler because they said there is a good chance it will void my warranty. This is the dumbest crap ive heard. a muffler! seriously how can that kill my tranny or kill my motor? man im pissed right now... |
