Anyone have the reese universal hitch?? I saw it at walmart for $109.

Any issues with this versus the one made specifically for the lib?

I'll let you know after I get it installed. I just picked one up last weekend. Just waiting for the skid plates to get here so I can put everything on at one time. Should be doing it this weekend.

I have the one from walmart and it works great! no complaints what so ever and I have towed 500# with it, a little bit tricky to get all together and put on but its worth it!

my bad, they didn't short me a bolt...hehe, read the front page. and here's a tip for the install.

when putting in the rear centering bolts, i used a peice of weed wacker cord to first stick through the back hole, then to the side. I then taped the wacker wire to the supplie metal wire and pulled it through. Made it ALOT easier than fishing for the hole back there. Also, for the back. only thread the supplied metal wire onto the bolt about 3 or so threads. Makes it easier to get the wire off the bolt when its all through.

overall the hitch looks good, hangs a bit lower than the specific KJ one though, will slightly effect the departure angle, but oh well.
