It takes money to make money, ford just recently bought the rover nameplate from BMW, why I have no clue. Also Land Rover is profitable and has been, it's jag that was struggling. They released a new model this year thats doing verywell, thier futunes are changing. The thing with jag and LR is they have worldwide dealer networking and appeal, not just state side. I don't know the ends and outs of big business or why they do some of the things they do. I do know that my source told me a year ago that Diamler was going to drop chrysler like a bad habit, some of you laughed at me then. Now my source tells me that jeep will be leaving the fold, how is not clear yet. It's even been sugested that jeep could become it's own company, Jeep Corperation. I just think it's intersting to watch and see how these things play out. Don't worry however, jeep is solid and has a future what ever happens, there not going to disappear, they will only get better if not bigger. Jeep is fine, as is dodge, the chrysler name is a little shakey, but will be interesting what Cerberus does. I would like to see all 3 of our companies make a come back and do well, I hope the chrysler name is a round for a long time, I'm a ford man by nature, but I want to see the other 2 prosper as well. As for my beloved jeep, I've been with them through a few owners, thier a survivor. It's one of the worlds most reconizable brands.
