Traded in my 03 Renegade (Still have my 07 Liberty Limited) for a Commander Sport. Well, got it 2 day's ago and this morning I scratched up the back passenger section on a pillar in the parking garage at work. Ugh. I am used to the Liberty, this thing is much longer and wider, I need to get used to it.

I feel your pain....exactly one week after making my first payment on my KJ, a lady hit me. She caught herself at the last second as I was about to pull into a BP for gas...she went flying around me through oncoming traffic in their lane and caught my front quarter panel, tore a hole in my bumper above the fogs and cracked the turn signal. almost a thousand dollars later it was back to new...on her insurance of course...it was still a bummer two weeks while I waited for the fixes...didn't even get a chance to give it a good wash before it got battered by a wreckless pregnant mom. stuff happens I guess.

Many of us feel your pain. My KJ was five days old, someone changed lanes without looking, stuff happened, spinning on the freeway sucks, guardrails suck in a good way. Several thousand insurance dollars and a month later I got my KJ back. I didn't even have it when I made my first payment since it was still in the shop.

At least you could tell people it happened on a trail right? 8)

hehe, yeah, I can say I was off road when it happened. The thing doesn't look that big from outside, but sitting in it it's huge.

My Commander is a year and a half old...... Some times the wheeling line pulls you to the right side of the trail where the 2 inch branches are to drag on your rig......Other times your 2 year old son finds the patch of tar in the srteet and decides to finger paint on your rig....... at least I went with black.

my KJ was a not even mine for a day when I took it through a narrow trail and had a tree carve its name in the side. Its a Jeep, get over it :)

Had mine a week and a gravel truck was giving out samples on the 91 in SoCal. then two days later I was caught in a windstorm on I-15 (while trying to avoid the gravel trucks :furious: )and sandblasted the windshield. 3 years later and I still haven't replaced it, but I will this summer since the winter made it crack both vertically and horizontally.
