I was washing the underbody of the jeep today b/c i did some mild off roading yesterday. it was alittle muddy road with some deep holes where i actually beat the front diff on some mud(no skid). I didnt hurt anything but after spraying it off today i was turning the jeep when the power steering started to cut in and out. it only cut out if i turned it really fast. I was stopped while it happened and i had just started it so the rmps were alittle high. It didnt do it anymore and i drove it down the road to dry it off/check the steering. Do u all think the belt got wet or something and when i was steering it put a load on it causing the belt to slip? i poped the hood and everything was dry, but that was after driving it for about 10min, i didnt check the fluid but i will tomorrow.
