Hi everyone...
I'm kinda ready to start giving my kj a few mods but, since I'm totally new at this I'd thought I'd ask to see what you guys know best.
I've got a Renegade that came with factory skid plates.

Question - Am I ready for a mild off road run? How mild? or should i ask... how much ready am I?

I want to get new tires - these are the rims I have
do I need to change rims?

Ialso am thinking about changing the tail lights for these - any coments?

Finally: Does any one has a checklist of thing thatare a must have before I venture to the trails?

The stock skid do hold up pretty well, i wouldnt be doing any rock crawling with no lift, but i take my libby off road and im stock with no skids. Those running boards may need to come off, and new tires would help alot too. Many people go for the revo's or the yoko geo's(which is what im going to get). U should be able to get 245/70's on there with little rub and no lift. I keep a cb/cell phone with me and a tow strap. dont wheel alone like i do. some tools are good too. A lift would help alot though, i would go with the ome lift like many people on here do, if i ever get a lift, thats what ill get.
