Aight, i know this is beat to death, but i cant find places to get these lifts, and i tried searching. Where do u all get the OEM lifts, Frankenlift, Daystar lift, skyjacker lift, and rustys lifts? Which ones give u the most lift and least amount of lift, and which ones come with a new upper strut mount for more flex? also, the spacer lifts, how much worse do they make the ride, i think its already stiff as a board and i really dont want it any worse. What is the best spacer lift. and where do u get them? |

ok guys, plz help me out alittle here. If i get a lift i will get the OME, i was looking for a lift that would lift it around 1.5in and thats what it does. If i understand it, it lifts my 2004 jeep 1.5in(40mm) and 2002 jeeps 20mm? Is that right, or is it the other way around? What do u all think about the wheel spacers? Do they work good or are they a waste of money? Also, on rocky road, it lets me either build my lift, or buy a complete kit, why does the complete kit cost so much more? And whats the difference in the options, why does it need to know if i have a bull bar or winch with the front springs? Cliff notes: 1. Does ome lift my jeep 40mm or 20mm? 2. Do wheel spacers work good, or should i buy different rims? 3. On rocky-road.com it lets me build an ome lift or buy a complete kit, whats the difference and y does the complete kit cost so much more? http://www.rocky-road.com/kjome.html down at the bottom 4. Why does it ask me if i have a bull bar or winch? 5. What difference does the HD springs make? i tow a boat and wouldnt want it to sag, so would i want HD springs or do they make the ride stiff when no towing? 6. Can u get 4:10 gears for the front now?!?! |

Can u get 4:10 gears for the front now?!?! 1. The OME lift gave me 2.5". 2. I would go with different wheels, I have the Rubicon wheels. 3. I would buy the OME kit from All-J products. I bought HD OME springs front and rear, Rancho struts and shocks- the struts were pre-assembled. All that shipped to me for $700.00. If I would have went without the pre-assembled struts it would have been $100.00 less. I bought pre-assembled so I could just have a bolt on lift, no down time. Rocky Road is just higher than a birds butt on their lifts. 4. To help you pick your pring rate. I'd get the OME HD. 5. If you tow, you would want the HD springs. Wether you are towing or not, the ride will be so smooth and plush you won't believe it. You can't go wrong with this set-up. 6. I think the only place to get 4.10s is at the dealer. Let me know if you have any more questions. |

Go to the bottom of this page to see what i was talking about, y can i build the lift for around $400 but i can buy the complete kit for $700. I dont understand. whats the difference between the two? http://www.rocky-road.com/kjome.html |

I dont understand. whats the difference between the two? http://www.rocky-road.com/kjome.html You need two rear springs at $66.02 each. You need 2 front springs at $66.02 each. 2 rear shocks-$72.78 each. 2 front struts- $129.61 each. All this adds up to almost $700, as does the full kit. You have to call All-J, it is not on their site. The rancho shocks have more travel than the OMEs. I got 2.5" with stock tires. I put the wheels and tires on later. The lift makes a hell of a difference in height. |

got another question kids. Been doing some searching and i came upon a 1.5in front and 2in rear lift on 4wheelparts.com. Its only $200, then i would buy new rear Rancho's but keep the stock struts. what do u all think. And thanks edwin for giving me all the advice u have. http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/products ... on&man=DAY Its about half way down the page, or half way up? ohh, would that make the rear of my jeep stick way up in the air? it already does alittle and .5in more isnt going to help it, and i dont want to do a clevis lift. |

Those spacer kits "look" good, but you still have your stock springs. The stock springs are just compressed down tighter. I hear this makes it ride like crap, but I've never tried this kind of kit. If you can turn loose of the cash, a full spring lift is the way to go. |

lol figured thats what i was going to get. Thanks again edwin, ive got the money, but i would like to do other things to the libby too, but i guess the lift it all its going to get. Im either going to leave the libby stock and get a cherokee to beat around in, or lift the jeep and be worried about hurting it all the time. Im one of those guys that washes and waxes his jeep, and actually, ive got to go do that right now. lol |

I've got an XJ and a KJ. Off road the KJ will kick the crap out of the XJ. But I do push the XJ harder because it's older. |

Tuff Counry 2.5 inch spacer lift for me and no problems so far. Budget lift for now. Saving money for SFA swap. I think someone else makes the Tuff Country lift since it is not on the website. |
