When i first start my jeep up (04 KJ), the oil light does not go off. Stays on. Checked the oil. Level is good (only have 1000miles on this change too). Then if i turn off the jeep and restart it. the light goes off.

So now when i go somewhere, the process is this:
Get in, Start the jeep. Light stays on. Turn jeep off. Restart jeep. Light goes off.
Also this only happens if the jeep has been sitting for awhile// overnight or a day at work.

If it sits for an hr. or so, nothing. no problems.

Just wondering if anybody has had a problem like this before. I noticed it after I had my last change done. It was at a place that i don't normally go too, but have in the past.

Im confused. lol
Any thoughts or ideas/experiences
thanks!!

Replace the oil sender unit, switch that is. Sounds like its sticking.
