Hey guys and gals i have a question about my 2005 KJ with PCM Fuel Module Flash Recall or what not, and i've been to two different dealerships and it still has not been solved, if i cannot get the emissions done or the recall fixed could this fall into place under the Lemon law? I dont wanna file a report but im just asking what if...? any ideas would be great thanks.

From what I understand it varies by state, the specific problem. I think here in PA it's something weird like 5 times to get the same thing fixed. I'm not sure if electronics would fall into the mix. I know a friend of mine had a door seal issue and she kept getting water in her car. Researching or just plain web surfing by your particular state would probably the best place to start.

my two cents

First, Chrysler has a very good customer arbitration board. You might contact them. With them, or with a lemon law, when you first contacted them is important becuase of the mielage on the vehicle as of that date. If either organization were to demand the dealer buy back the vehicle, you will be charged some $$ per miles driven based on when you first reported the problems. It adds up really quickly, and is not always a good deal in the end.

As far as your question is concerned, it's kind of vague as to exactly what problems you are having, how it affects the driveability of your Jeep, how long it's been in the shop and unavailable to you, and what has been done to try and resolves the issue. You'll need to be able to address all of this to get the attention of anyone.

Generally speaking your vehicle needs to be out of service for a total of 30 days and have visited the dealership (the same dealership) 3 times for the exact same problem before you can file for a lemon law. Use the site posted above to find your state and figure out your next moves....

You can always call Chrysler in Auburn Hills (I used to work there) and they can help you out a great deal.
