ok guys, plz help me out alittle here. If i get a lift i will get the OME, i was looking for a lift that would lift it around 1.5in and thats what it does. If i understand it, it lifts my 2004 jeep 1.5in(40mm) and 2002 jeeps 20mm? Is that right, or is it the other way around? What do u all think about the wheel spacers? Do they work good or are they a waste of money? Also, on rocky road, it lets me either build my lift, or buy a complete kit, why does the complete kit cost so much more? And whats the difference in the options, why does it need to know if i have a bull bar or winch with the front springs?
Cliff notes:
1. Does ome lift my jeep 40mm or 20mm?
2. Do wheel spacers work good, or should i buy different rims?
3. On rocky-road.com it lets me build an ome lift or buy a complete ome kit, whats the difference and y does the complete ome kit cost so much more?
4. Why does it ask me if i have a bull bar or winch?
5. What difference does the HD springs make? i tow a boat and wouldnt want it to sag, so would i want HD springs or do they make the ride stiff when no towing?
6. Can u get 4:10 gears for the front now?!?!
1. The OME lift gave me 2.5".
2. I would go with different wheels, I have the Rubicon wheels.
3. I would buy the OME kit from All-J products. I bought HD OME springs front and rear, Rancho struts and shocks- the struts were pre-assembled. All that shipped to me for $700.00. If I would have went without the pre-assembled struts it would have been $100.00 less. I bought pre-assembled so I could just have a bolt on lift, no down time. Rocky Road is just higher than a birds butt on their lifts.
4. To help you pick your pring rate. I'd get the OME HD.
5. If you tow, you would want the HD springs. Wether you are towing or not, the ride will be so smooth and plush you won't believe it. You can't go wrong with this set-up.
6. I think the only place to get 4.10s is at the dealer.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
