I was having trouble deciding where to put this.. General or 4x4 discussion..

as some of you know, Western Washington/Oregon was hit pretty hard from a snow/rain/wind storm last week, here is something I found on our local station:

Can I have the tow package? =D

Why not just go forward and explore the new caverns an water ways?

Test it's climbing ability on the other side of the hole.

That's one very lucky guy, earlier this year we had some flash flooding & a road collapsed just like that. The driver, his wife, there 2 kids & the cousin (child) were washed away. Very very sad.

Ahh, just a little pothole.

Are those underground electric cables to the right?
If it rolled, it would have landed right on them.

the real question is did the road collapse under him or did he think it was just covered with water and tried to drive through it? :?

Yeah, here in PA that would just be a pothole... Actually it looks a lot like the area near where I went to college...limestone underneath would wash away commonly.

I'd vote for the latter of the two being the more likely case.
