The power cord looks kind of light weight. I would be a little leery of the claimed capacity. I don't know anything about wenches so I may be wrong.

Don't know why no but read carefully regarding the capacity it is only around 3,500 lbs. Those higher numbers are for rolling weight.

yeah it's rated as 3500 lb of dead pull power... it doesn't look that beefy.

10,500 lbs of rolling load power. I guess you can pull a vehicle that weighs that much as long as it's rolling

11,000 lbs of marine power. I guess this means you can pull a 11,000 lb boat that's floating in the water?

LOL, I wonder what all those ratings mean? A friend of mine used to have one of those that had a pretty tough time pulling my 4x4 Aerostar van up a slight incline.

Yes that is very similar to a ATV winch! Only 3500lbs capacity but will pull 10500lbs if the load is on good working rollers!I agree, go with a warn and spend you money right the first time if you really need a winch. Honstly I think you would be better off spending that winch money on a set of lockers to help elimate you from getting stuck iin the first place!
