It was supposed to snow last night in Detroit and it didn't! I was super angry when I woke up this morning.

We've had two good storms so far. I got a part-time job driving for Domino's. Last Saturday, my shift was 5pm-8pm. They called me in at 1:30pm & I stayed til 3:00 am, cause it was only me, a guy with a square light Wrangler, & a guy with an old 4-runner that could get anything done. SO MUCH FUN!!! Plus tips! :D

I'm in on the "hey I want snow too!" attitude :D

We got rain and rain and rain so far. Can't wait to see if stuff happens like last year. Even the company who is paid to tow people out of the snow got stuck! The military was sent in to rescue people. A whole bus full of people got trapped on the motorway for days! And a weekend-party in a major city got so heavily covered by snow it took the rescuers three full days of excavation to clear them out. We even had a mall roof collapse because of the snow. That was a coooool winter! :D

Come to Upstate New York and you can take some of ours back home with you. We've got enough to go around! Personally I HATE the stuff after dealing with it for 34 years. You wouldn't believe how EVERY year people forget how to drive, even though EVERY year it snows! :x I'm just not a cold weather person, anyway. Maybe when I get my new Nokian Vatiiva's this Thursday, I'll change my mind. Anything has to be better than these @$#% Destination A/T's

We have a decent amount of snow here now. Roads are still covered from yesterday and the temp is 12 degrees.

Snowing again.....lightly.

Two years ago, before I got my Jeep, I felt the exact same way SavageUrge. Now, with 4HI and MT/Rs... I wish we'd get more. Enough that all the little cars can't even get out of their driveways so they stay the hell out of my way! I feel like I'm 16 again every time I get in my Jeep now! :D Can't imagine what I'd be like if I had tires that were actually made specifically for snow and ice.

What don't you like about them....I agree there not great off-road, but I never had any trouble with them on the snow. DEFINITELY, better than the SR-A's...!!

Snow has its ugly side too. I just got back in from an hour's walk out at the edge of town. There's a Wrangler in the ditch not far from here. It hit some ice (Goodyear Wrangler GS-As), flipped, landed inside a chainlink fence after tearing the fence down. Tore a door off, one wheel is gone, front end and top smashed up. Looked like it happened last night, so I'm not sure what the cause was. The ice must have been a factor, and better tires wouldn't have hurt any. I just hope nobody was hurt. Be careful out there folks!

The Only thing that I can think of that aren't better than the SR-A's are the Wrangler ST's which can only be described as S**ty Tires which must be how they came up with the name.

We got a tiny little bit of freezing rain on Sunday. It made for some really fun driving while I was trying to return "superbad" to bestbuy because of a scratch. I have to say, I didn't have any trouble driving except when I slid out of the driveway in reverse (slighest slope)
