So, as some of you may know I've been having issues with my sway bar links... So today was fairly nice so I decided to make one last stand against my swaybar links. Well. I did. As I was tightening up my lower driver side bolt I, I was doing it with passion. Basically daring the sway bar to make any more noise. Then all of a sudden, to my self, I said "wow this bolt is getting easy to..." *SNAP* Sigh. |

I had an issue with the sway bar links making noise no matter how much I tightened them (note I didn't tighten them till they broke). I finally realized that I had one of them on upside down. Once I corrected that, no more noise. |

I'm pretty sure I have them on correctly, but not 100%. |

You need to torque everything to specs on the suspension so grabbing an impact wrench and banging away isnt the best thing to do. |

impact wrenches are what you use if you don't care whether it breaks (common in situations where threads are already messed up and you're 1 step away from drilling it out) torque wrenches are what you use if you want things to last. |
