So, as some of you may know I've been having issues with my sway bar links... So today was fairly nice so I decided to make one last stand against my swaybar links. Well. I did.

As I was tightening up my lower driver side bolt I, I was doing it with passion. Basically daring the sway bar to make any more noise. Then all of a sudden, to my self, I said "wow this bolt is getting easy to..." *SNAP*

Sigh.

I had an issue with the sway bar links making noise no matter how much I tightened them (note I didn't tighten them till they broke). I finally realized that I had one of them on upside down. Once I corrected that, no more noise.

I'm pretty sure I have them on correctly, but not 100%.

You mean impact wrenches? That what I always use...comes off with one or two pushes of the trigger

He probably meant a torque wrench. You need to torque everything to specs on the suspension so grabbing an impact wrench and banging away isnt the best thing to do.

impact wrenches are what you use if you don't care whether it breaks
(common in situations where threads are already messed up and you're 1 step away from drilling it out)

torque wrenches are what you use if you want things to last.
