fog lights for 05 sport?

Hi-- I posted this on the old forum but can't get the replies.

I have a 2005 sport w/o foglights. The dealer told me they can't get them from Mopar yet. Does anyone know if this is true?

Does anyone make aftermarket lights?

Seems odd they say they dont have them yet...Do you have the fog lights are are you needing to replace one. If you do not have the fog lights you might want to buy something different because of the cost.

It would cost a lot to have all the factory stuff added after the fact when you could get some much better lights at a cheaper cost. There are some very nice kits out ther that have the lights, switches, wiring and everthing else you might need to install them.

If you need a replacement fog light let us know and we can post some links to other places that sale factory parts. Hope that helps. Later...Clint

Sounds a little odd to me. They can't get them from corporate yet, yet corporate is still putting them on new KJ's?

If I were you, since you don't have any, find some better aftermarket ones for cheaper. Quadratec Has some nice lookin ones (some expensive, some for the average budget) that come with all the goodies. Relay, wires, switch and all fun shtuff.

This is not exactly the solution that you were looking for, but how about mounting some Renny-style large lights on the bumper right in front of the grille holes?

That sounds like a great idea to me.

Seen these around and it looks good, although I like the old style renagade light bar better.... but it fits in nice with the wrangler too (they put the fog lights on the front).

You can get some Hella 500 fog lights for around $65~. Install is more complicated than it looks. Or some generic fog lights for $30. Check out Troy's link page for some options. http://www.youngs.org/kjparts/default.asp?category=4

I had my fog lights put on after I bought my 05. It was $195 after taxes for parts and labor.
I can call Adams jeep in Maryland they have the kit part number if you want?
