Is this the same company that we have talked about in the past? They are in Australia and named Gibson.

As far as I know, those are the only ones available, and are the ones that someone was trying to get a group buy together for and import here.

Thanks for the link. Yep, same company. It seems that the thread just ends without any follow up. Did anyone ever get one here in the USA?

I'm working on it... saving $$$ as we speak! :D :twisted: We'll se how long it takes me! :lol:

Maybe a group buy would get a bunch of us an excellent price.

It's possible, but it was tried before and it looks like everyone backed out. Or most did at least.

Dirk (www.dpgoffroad.com) is a good friend of mine, and I talked to him about those snorkels. He does have some left in stock. Not much that can be done as far as a group buy goes, but he said I can be a distributor for them if I wish, and distributors can sell things at a slight discount. It won't be a huge discount, but every little bit counts.

Retail is $399 plus shipping (about $20-30). I'm thinking $380 plus shipping. Like I said, not a huge discount as I don't get a huge discount, but it covers most of the shipping cost.

I got my snork through DPG off road. Installed it a few days ago! The install took forever, but if you do it I would suggest renting the snorkle "blank" from DPG. The tube that goes through the fender it cut off so you can put it up against the fender. The paper template did not match up at all. The snork looks great on the KJ!!! Hope you all get one. I have only seen one other KJ with the snork in Cal.

Mine is waiting to go on, along with a stack of parts:

--> facet lift pump (might ditch for the cummins lift pump in tank)
--> tranny cooler
--> 3 guage dash mount pod (need guages)
--> SEGR mod

And I need to repaint the rock rails from where I scratched them up and then drove out east and got them wet.

And it is cold now. For AZ anyway (32 right now).
