My buddy Jon who had a red wrangler traded it in for silver 03 KJ!
He went to the L.O.S.T Midwest Halloween Run with me this year and was impressed with the KJ's capability....after a few mods.
I've converted another one

In the past

I was working with a guy who had an old cherokee and it wouldn't start after work... So I gave him a ride home in my KJ and he liked it so much he bought 04 rene a month later...

My other buddy blew up his cadilliac and I told him to test drive mine..... a week later he pulled up with an 05 KJ....

Two of them aren't into off roading but Jon who had the wrangler will probably be joining the L.O.S.T group soon...

Cheers
Chris

they don't HAVE to be into off roading to be a part of L.O.S.T! Thats just one part, granted a big part. Lots of people here don't get em muddy. Not sure why not...

They can join and learn lots about teh KJ. Encourage them to join and learn and have fun.

Sounds like me. For off road we take our 1998 Cherokee XJ to places like Death Valley. Minimal lift but BFG TA KOs and not real rock climbing, just a lot of off road fun. Now our KJ CRD will be mostly for towing a small travel trailer. Although we did take it on some unpaved AZ backroads. I love this site for info on KJs in general and CRDs in particular.

Yeah I try to get as many new members as I can. It's just more incentive if they do like to go off roading.....

I went to my friends house in Columbus last week and I saw two renegades sitting in front of one another.. So I left a note on both of them that said
Nice KJ, I have one too! Go to www.lostkjs.com!!!
from username:cdiekhans...
if anyone hears of such a story from a new member let me know..
:D

If someone gets bored they should make a generic 3"x5"printable version with our L.O.S.T KJ Logo on it
and one for the KK's too....i guess...JK

Off Topic, but I REALLY like the color of your KJ! I haven't seen that before!

cdiekhans, I've left notes on a few lifted KJ's. one of 'em I thought was Freshmud's, but as it turned out it wasn't, because two days later he made a post that said he just installed the lights I saw on the bumper of the one I saw

hahahahahha.. i always want to leave notes saying to go to www.lostkjs.com but havnt yet. liberty's are outstanding all puropse vehicles.. everyone can find a ton of uses for one... 4x4 good for offroading/bad roads.. ton of room inside for hauling/ moving stuff.. good towing ability.. comfortable for 5.. 4 doors.. the list goes on and on!.. no good reason not to buy one :D glad to hear more possible members!.. they'd better be careful, they might get L.O.S.T. in the amount of mod's of information!

I may be a nut, but I love when I pass by other Liberty's while travelling about. I guess "It's A Jeep Thing". Gives you a pretty cool feeling when you see another Jeep, and think that the other driver likely enjoys driving a Liberty as much as we all do. Talked with one older man at work one day who has a newer Libby. I told him I loved mine, he said that his has been in and out of the shop since new.................he griped about the problems, then admitted to liking driving it and how good it drives in snow.
