I still like the NGK plugs in Iridium or V-Power. I have never had a plug related failure and I have used NGK in every vehicle I have owned over the years (since about 1986). I have had bad experiences w/ several other brands though and always returned to NGK. The V-Powers work great but they will wear out in about 25k miles or so based on my experience in 2 different KJ's. My next change I will be using the Iridiums. FWIW, I sell them too now. http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/ngk.aspx FWIW again, I had a bro-in-law that worked for NGK for a few years and I got to see lots of testing results of NGK and other plugs. It was amazing how cheap some brands are made and how poorly they perform. NGK was at the forefront of stopping Splitfire from continuing their lying ways and false advertising on what was one of the cheapest/most marked up, lamest plugs ever. Other brands that faired well in testing were Bosch and Nippondenso. |

I use the Bosch Platinum +2 plugs. I had tried several different brands. I tried the Bosch when I found them on sale really cheap and thought that they looked like they would expose the spark to the fuel/02 charge better. With other plugs the liberty always idled like it had a cam with a big lope or had a random miss. With the Bosch plugs, it idles as smothely as anything I have driven. I can't say that there was any more horsepower or mileage, but if it is producing that much better of an idle, I assume that the cylinders are firing better all through the rpm range. |

I have a set of the iridium plugs in my Liberty right now. So far they have been great but they do cost a little more. |

I'm using Autolite double platinum now too. Excellent performance so far, after about 2400 miles. |

MAN THE KJ RUNS SMOOOOOTH NOW! I've always ran the Bosch +4 plugs and have not had any problems. Some say that platium is not a good conductor for electricity. I am do for a change, but not sure if I will switch to something else. |

I'm currently useing Bosch Platinums +4's. I bought them last year from Amsoil when I did my full conversion. Ny Mech refused to install and said he would only use Champions. So far I'm not overly impressed with the +4's. Nor do I care for Autolite used them years ago in a 260Z fouled out in less then a week. I've used both Bosch and Denso and NGK's thropugh out the years I would vote for NGK's mpw and thye will be my next plug replacement. They are also the plug Amsoil currently sells so thats good enough for me |

A friend of mine had one of the prongs break off the Bosch+4. I'm sure you can imagine what the inside of that cylinder looked like after it bounced around in there for a bit. I personally don't trust them after that. I've used the regular old Bosch Platinums for years now with no issues and good performance. Next time around I'm switching back to the factory NGK Iridiums to see if there is any major difference. |

I dropped the big bucks for them, can't say there was a huge difference, but they should last for the rest of the life left in the 3.7 (I just turned 100K new years day) |
