Hi. Just registered, thought I'd say Hi.

Just traded My '03 TJ in for an '04 KJ CRD Pioneer. Also have a modded '91 XJ 4.0 2dr and '04 WJ 2.7CRD.

We live In Chelmsford, Essex which is not far from London. Lots of Jeeps out here and a handful of Jeep clubs, but not many KJs included in these, mainly YJ, TJ and XJs.

Until recently I was a Jeep dealership technician so will try to make a contribution when I can.

Bye for now.

Is your WJ 2.7 CRD a smaller version of the 2.8 or different engine all together?

The '02-04 WG CRD has a 5 cylinder Mercedes-Benz common rail diesel also used in Mercedes passanger cars. This is mated to the 5 speed Mercedes auto transmission now refered to as the NAG transmission used in the new WK.
Previously, for 2000 and '01, WG diesels had a 3.1 litre VM direct injection motor and 44RE transmission. This motor was a 5 cylinder version on the diesel fitted to the XJ.
