Post subject:  brake noises in reverse

I just noticed this problem earlier this week and haven't had a chance to check the brake pads yet, but I thought I'd post to see if any red flags go up for anyone.

When I'm backing out of my driveway with light pressure on the brake, I get some pretty deep rubbing sounds (more of a deep squeek, not grinding). Odd thing is it only happens in reverse. In drive, no problems whatsoever.

I would think if the pads were wearing down, I would hear it in both directions.

Any thoughts?

Nick

There's a TSB out on this. Check the TSB section and get the number, go down to dealer for the work (under warranty?)
