 Post subject: Best Lubes for A.T. and Transfer case?

gotta do the changes next week, so just wondering what peoples experiences were with all the different options out there. I'm sure royal purple and amsoil will come up.....whats the best ATF+4 out there?

ATF+4 is ATF+4 no matter what company makes it(Valvoline or Castrol),they have to be the same to be called ATF+4.You can use Amsoil ATF also.Do not use Dextron I,II,III,or IV.Don't use ATF+3 either.

Used Valvoline in mine and no problems

yep i put valvoline ATF+4 full synthetic in my transfer case and it made it much quieter

another vote for valvoline.
just dumb luck on my part - it was the only atf-4 on the shelf when i was shopping. no complaints, yet.

Walmart has Mopar ATF+4, thats what I used when I changed my transfer case fluid.

he is right walmart does have Mopar ATF+4.. i used valvoline in mine though w/ no problems.
