Personally anymore then 3/8" clevis lift is asking for trouble, the less of the strut in the clevis makes that area more prone to being a pivot point and can fail. Then again just my opinion.

Well it is a valid point and is why I am asking the question... I guess I'd like to get input from the people who are running 4 rings... How long and any issues?

A bit off topic but still clevis  : How hard is it to do a clevis lift, can you do it your seft or do you need special equipment and a 2nd set of hands. Also, how thick is 1 ring and how much lift do you gain from a 1 ring install?

Its pretty easy to do a clevis lift, I did mine by myself with no issues with no special equipment. One clevis ring is 1/8" thick that will give you 1/4" lift. Im running 2 now.

i ran 4 conduit washers wtih no issues.

i ran this set up with both rustys front sprints without, then with the arb, and also with the ome hd's and the arb.

when i sold the kj, it still had this set up, and never had any issues.

there was only a 1/4" of strut NOT in the clevis fork, if i remember correctly.
plenty left in the clevis to not worry about anything happening.

yeah i think i would be ok to do 4 rings. i just did a 3 ring clevis and wish i would have done 4. plenty of strut left. just make sure u get the clevis tight and check it after a few miles or ur first 4 wheeling trip.

I have had 1/2" aluminum spacers under my struts for a year and a half with no issues. I didn't care for conduit nut so I made the spacers.
